Church of St. Martin

We start at the Adige bridge near Tauferer Gate and initially walk upstream along a section of the city wall, up to the small municipal campsite. At the end of the campsite, we turn left (small road with a no-entry sign), take the bridge over the Adige and the Rambach, and cross the main street. Now, we continue to the right along the Waalweg (Lower Waal) until Waldrast. On the left, the ascent begins (approximately 2.5 km) to the Church of St. Martin (magnificent view over the Vinschgau Valley). Our path (marked 24) then leads us down to the intersection Platzgangl. At the intersection, we continue straight ahead, along the Vita trail, and down to St. James's Church. The path marked with number 1 takes us back to the starting point.
