21th Glorenza Advent Market from 08.12. to 10.12.2023
Event time: from 11.00 a.m. to 9.00 p.m.
Under the proven motto "Light, Scents, Sounds", the cultural association "Laubenkomitee - OK Glurnser Advent" organises the Glurnser Advent for the 21st time.
Against a medieval backdrop and a unique atmosphere, this year's event will once again be contemplative, romantic, homely and enchanting.
Glurns will be traffic-free, homely and cosy, because away from the hustle and bustle we invite you to enjoy Advent in the western half of South Tyrol, in our little town from 8 to 10 December.
Indeed, once again an extraordinary time is to be expected!
Instead of Christmas dueling from loudspeakers, there will be more than 20 music groups and alphorn blowers who will provide the musical framework for Advent in Glurns over three days.
There will also be Advent contemplation with various choirs and musicians in the parish church and open singing in the Frauenkirche. The theatre group will perform a Christmas play to set the mood for the coming Christmas season.
Surrounded by the illuminated city walls and towers, 45 market stalls will be set up on the town square and in Laubengasse. Regional products, handicrafts and much more will be on offer.
There will alsobe pre-Christmas crafts, fairy tales and Punch and Judy shows for children.
The gastronomic stalls spoil the visitors with culinary delights and warm drinks.
